Chosen Artist: Laura Molina
My chosen artist is Laura Molina. On the website dedicated to her http://www.lauramolina.com/Statement.html she states she "will use [her] activism and creativity to end injustice, intolerance and patriarchy at both a social and interpersonal level" which I find amazing. Her artwork uses bold colors and icons to inspire action against injustice, intolerance, and patriarchy. I look forward to learning more about her and presenting her work to the class.
