Week 6: commenting on Maria Delgado on Camille Rose Garcia

Maria Delgado writes about the amazing and talented artists that were presented to the class last week, however the one artist that grabbed her attention the most with the art work of Camille Rose Garcia. She initially gravitated to her artwork because of he love of Disney their stories and the artist Camille artwork story telling through her work goes beyond the political message.
Maria Delgado fascination of the Disney stories have led to her to       investigate the original stories of Walt Disney which turned out to be quite dark and twisted and it is this specific reason why the artwork of Camille intrigued her.
Although the artist I selected to write on was Shizu Saldamando, Camille Rose Garcia was a close second. Like Maria, I very much liked the Camille approach on the snow-white tale painting. I really do love the artistry and color selection of her paintings and how she captures the wickedness of the original story so well with here depiction of the tale. A tale in which Snow White is forced to wear red hot iron shoes and forced to dance, dance to her death. After this week blog posting I have found myself looking and researching more of Camille Rose Garcia art work and the original stories of Walt Disney original tales.
