Laura Aguilar
I chose this artist first because I have a slight interest in photography. I don't know this artist nor have I ever heard about her. But I looked her up and her work is something that interests me. She focuses on lesbian Latinas. But she also focuses on women of color in general and the female body. She does this so that she can become more accepting of her body. This is something I admire because I myself have body image issues and would like to become more accepting of myself.
