Orozco, Emily

Isabel Martinez (1958–present) has been an active artist for more than 20 years. Martinez’s styles of art include: painting, drawing, and printmaking. She is mostly known for including several cultural references within her art work. 

Biography (or Early Life and Education)

Isabel Martinez was born in Guerrero, Mexico. She attended La Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas located in Mexico City. There, she got her Bachelors of Fine Arts. Martinez later attended California State University, Los Angeles were she received her Masters in Fine Arts as well as a Single Subject Art Credential.
