Her death was extremely alarming because of how her case was handled. I can't believe the lawyers protected a man by using her own work against her. Yes, her work is morbid but she did it in order to criticize the morbidity in the world not praise it. I do not believe Ana committed suicide.

I really admire her work and the way she displays the horrors that continue to persist due to the patriarchy and I totally agree with you! Her death is truly a tragedy and product of gender/domestic violence. It is upsetting that justice was never served. However, her work continues to remind us of the inequities and injustices many women endure.
