This is the blog for the UCLA Chicanx Latinx Art and Artists course offered by the Cesar E. Chavez Department of Chicanx Central American Studies (CCAS M175, also Art M184 and World Arts and Cultures M128). This course provides a historical and contemporary overview of Chicanx Latinx art production with an emphasis on painting, photography, prints, murals and activist art.

Falcon,Joan
My name is Joan Falcon and this is my last year at UCLA until graduation. My preferred pronouns are he/his/him. After I graduate I plan on obtaining a certification in project management and hopefully return to receive my masters. I am taking this class because I took a similar class on Chicano art and I loved it and this quarter this class has a similar setup.
