She specializes in visual artist, as well as creates murals, art prints, stickers, and greeting cards. Being resourceful comes easily to Carlin as she uses many common materials such as acrylic paint, charcoal etc. She hopes to empower women as a women and as a entrepreneur. She is in a path of self growth and hopes her art can do the same for other women. Her art pieces are based on  important women to her. The spark gallery, founded by Judy Baa, has displayed many pieces of her work. “Rising like corn” from 2007 sold by SPARK brings forth the message to stand up in what you don’t believe in like BLM, and  Immigration reform as well as other civil and social injustices. The painting shows a fearless women taking charge. In the second painting, by the name of Womb of Man redesigned in 2020, from its original piece in 2006 based on her cousin without a baby and no roses as well as a different background.THE ORIGINAL WAS A CHOLA VERSION OF HER COUSIN AND NOW in 2020  ITS HER AND HER CHILD as she is now her own inspiration whereas in 2006, her cousin was her inspiration. She worked at Trader Joes for 8 years as a muralist for them to bring their images to life and after a decade decided to become her own entrepreneur.
