The Chicana artist that I plan to present on is Sonya Fe. She is known for her large paintings that abundantly showcase children and women. What stood out the most for me from her work is that she communicates deep emotions from her characters, somewhat somber. The cultural scenes she creates are not necessarily joyful and the colors she uses are vibrant and yet intermingle with the dark to create a somewhat haunting impression.
