Introduce from Kerina Guo

Hello! My name is Jiaxin Guo and nickname is Kerina, I am an international student from China and studying Spanish Communication and culture major at UCLA. This is my last quarter at UCLA.  I hope I can enjoy my last quarter at UCLA and I think this class would be fun. Because before I take this class, I have already had some contact and understanding of Chicano art through other classes, and have a strong interest in Chicano art. I hope to learn the history of Chicano art, the origin of each painting and the historical story contained in this class. One of my favourite artist is Frida Kahlo, Her paintings are full of colors, rich and harmonious. What I admire most is her life. Her growing time was damaged by diseases, but she still did not give up artistic creation.
