Week 1
Hi my name is Sherri Jones, I never got to do this blog post because I didn't have access to the blog when it was due but here it goes. Hi I'm Sherri, my pronouns are She/Her/Hers and I am an undeclared second year sadly. (I am returning to this post to happily say that I am in fact not only a struggling second year but a struggling political scientist , fancy I know). Let me start off by saying I in no way intended on enrolling in this class but as a second year pre med major failing my classes I decided it was indeed time for a short break from stem classes. As I clambered to find a class that tickled my fancy I decided on this one. Art is something I enjoy a lot so I was like why not!? I was finally really really interested in this class after I found out that we were able to do art in it, for the first time I was going to do something I enjoyed in class! . I really love art even though I am not very good at it. :'( Anyways I don't have a personal picture of me to post so sorry about that as well. Chicana Art interest me a lot because half of my family is from Mexico and I wanted to learn about my culture a little more. This class seems like a lot of fun and I'm so happy I stumbled upon it randomly because this might just be my favorite class of all time!!
