I chose to do my presentation project on Cassandra Giraldo who is a Photojournalist/ photographer.
I relate to her style of photos and the depth of her artistry.
One thing that caught my attention was her current social media accounts which include instagram.
Although she has social media she mainly focuses on her photojournalism.

Her art focuses on Juvenile justice , mental health, education and coming of age.
She has notable mentions such as Vice which she is a producer for “ vice tonight show”
She is also an Investigative fellow at Reveal, the center of investigative reporting.
Which is a great opportunity to give more experience to photojournalists on investigative reporting.
One of her projects that she has worked on has been “ The after school project”
where she focused on documenting the life of teenagers in a NY Brooklyn school.
"The after school project" was an instagram series but was also published online.
