Hello, my name is David Samayoa. I am a transfer student and currently double majoring in Political Science and Chicano Studies. I have a few hobbies which include; video editing and playing the piano. I've played the piano for about 8 years now, learning classical music and moving to modern contemporary and volunteer at my church as well, playing the keyboard. I have a big family, two brothers and two sisters, making us a total of seven. You know what that means, no privacy lol. Another fact about me that most people don't realize is that I am left-handed.
One thing for sure, I am a jokester. I like to have fun and laugh and listen to music. I like to celebrate with my close friends and family special holidays like Christmas. I like dogs, no cats, ever. Maybe sometimes.
Since I have a small background in video editing, I wanted to expand my artistic side and learn about Chicano Art. I want to learn about how artists use their surroundings and personal testimony in their art and if it conveys what they art trying to express. I would like to use the same tactics in my own art.
