This exhibition is to highlight diverse female artists whose work boldly and unapologetically parses themes of identity, beauty, violence and peace, among others.

The title of this exhibition conveys a sense of power, heralding a systemic shift in culture where people of all genders, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, classes, ages and abilities can see themselves represented in the museum. On view during the 100th anniversary of the Women's Suffrage Movement in the United States, Unapologetic: All Women, All Year aims to create a space that acknowledges the importance of equality in cultural institutions.
