Extra Credit Dr Judy Baca (Brenda Barrios)

Judy Baca Talks about public art and the Migration of the golden people central Americans coming to the united states. And also talks about activists and expressed working with young people and internationally and to began to look at the story talked about unbearable accomplishments and the children then excavated their family albums. Of the history and the images of the death of the mother and children and photographs of the people that had been disappeared. Should you use this in public work? and the families wanted the children to use history and actually show that work. And Baca talks about how it's important to include the history and speak the integrational stories. Representing the dead is a question of how to show death or historical events and how to show the death of the pandemic into a mural for example.

to reflect: I found Judy Baca to be doing incredible work and I find Art education helpful to reach a new generation in order to create a more impactful future using arts and its important to speak of those of the past especially if its our culture and families.
