Week 8 Presentation

 Last week's public artist presentation were so interesting! I loved seeing all the various murals and public works. I also really liked how the public works can for the most part be seen for free without paying to see the in a gallery or exhibit. This is one of the truly beautiful things I gathered from the art of public artists. One of my favorites was Ruby Chacon. I loved her story on coming from a large family, and having a hard childhood, but despite that, family being very important to her, so she included it in a lot of her work. I also liked how a lot of other people can see their own family members in her work. My favorite piece of hers is the "CIHUACOATL AND GOLDEN RULE" I love how she depicts Virgin Mary amongst everyday people, doing hard work.
