An image by Monica Kim of a nude woman swimming in the ocean was really interesting to me. For very long, women are restricted to show parts of their body. And while I believe that everyone should do what makes them feel comfortable, as long as they not hurting anyone else, others feel it is important for everyone to be covered up; I respect that as well. But what's interesting about this image if a woman is swimming confidently in the middle of the ocean. With no one around, she is able to truly be herself and do whatever she wants to do. To me, this image represents a freedom what the world does not give. It is a freedom that one gets when one sets themselves free from the toughest of the world and criticisms of the world. I like this image because I just also recently learned how to swim and is would be fun to snorkel in clear oceans like this.
